Marrying a Santa Fe Style Home with the Client’s Modern Aesthetics

“We recently underwent a full kitchen renovation. Our house is traditional Santa Fe southwest construction and we have slowly tried to marry southwest with modern design through renovation and furnishings. The kitchen was the last big space to remodel. We wanted a combination of textures and a palette to compliment the rest of the house. Sven took our preferences to heart and designed a beautiful space. All cabinets were replaced, new appliances were placed in different locations, and floors were redone. Sven offered several varieties of cabinetry and countertops, creatively steering us toward our modern aesthetic.  The layout design was purposeful and conducive to our lifestyle. With Sven’s guidance, the construction team worked effortlessly, and sometimes on weekends, to complete our kitchen quickly in approximately 2 ½ months. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and owe it all to Sven and his team. Sven was pleasant, always reachable, and an excellent design/build manager to an often daunting project. “
